How It Works

Promo.lk is run by real Sri Lankans sharing real deals. No bots, no scrapers. Just people helping each other save money.

1. Find Deals

The homepage shows what the community is voting on right now. Switch between tabs to browse differently:

Hot - the deals with the most votes and activity today.
New - the latest submissions, fresh from the community.
Top Voted - all-time best deals voted by members.
Rising - newer deals that are picking up fast.

Use the sidebar to filter by category (Electronics, Restaurants, Hotels, Shopping and more) or by district to see deals near you. The search bar at the top works too — just type a store name, product or keyword.

2. Vote

Your votes decide what the community sees. It only takes a second and it makes a real difference.

Upvote a deal if it's genuinely good value. This pushes it up so more people see it.
Downvote if it's expired, wrong, or not actually a saving. This helps filter it out.
Got This if you grabbed the deal yourself. It shows others it's real and still working.

You need to be signed in to vote.

3. Post a Deal

If you spot a deal, post it. It takes about two minutes and helps the whole community.

Write a clear title. Include the product, the price and the store. Something like "Sony Earbuds at Rs. 3,500 from Abans (was Rs. 5,500)" works great.

Add the prices. Enter the sale price and original price. We'll calculate the saving automatically.

Pick a category. This helps people browsing that section find your deal.

Add the link and a photo. Link straight to the store page. A photo helps your deal get more attention.

Set an expiry date if you know it. Or tick "Never Expires" for ongoing offers.
